In a hot pot stir to sauté the onion, until caramelized.
Add the olive oil and when hot, stir to sauté chopped veal, till it turns white. You could substitute half of the chopped veal with chopped pork or lamb, for more intense flavor, according o taste.
Then we add to the pot the tomatoes, bay leaf, garlic, water, salt and pepper to taste and boil over medium heat, for about 10-15 minutes, until all liquids have absorbed. Remove pot from the heat and take out the bay leaf.
In the meantime boil the pasta, according to package instructions.
Strain the pasta, add the chopped meat sauce to it, garnish with dill sprigs and serve.
